Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT/BLS/ACLS certification for a cardiac and interventional radiology unit.

Details

Interventional Radiology unit setting

Performs a wide range of IR procedures including vascular, genitourinary, and neurological studies

Cardiac cath lab procedures including PTCA

4x10 hour day shifts, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off

Call requirements include one primary and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks alternating between primary and backup

Uses Siemens imaging equipment and PACS system

EPIC charting system experience preferred

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology required

ARRT and BLS certifications required; ACLS also required

Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred

Proficient with Siemens equipment

Skilled in venous access, central line care, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and related IR procedures

Experience with vascular, genitourinary, and neurological IR studies preferred

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

License required if applicable

2 professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable for the second reference; coworker references not accepted

Additional Information

Perform interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort

Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC

Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract due to strict compliance timelines

Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6+ months away from the facility

Current employees ineligible for travel assignments at this health system

RTO must be submitted with application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less

First-time travelers not considered; previous IR experience required
