We re looking for a hands-on API Architect to lead the API architecture and engineering for an enterprise Azure Data Hub.

This is a 60% Architecture + 40% Hands-on Engineering role ideal for someone who enjoys designing solutions AND writing production-quality code.

Java + Spring Boot

Spring WebFlux / Project Reactor

Reactive Programming & Non-Blocking I/O

REST API & OpenAPI / Swagger

Azure API Management (APIM)

AKS / App Service / Azure Container Apps

Large File Transfer, Streaming & Resumable Uploads

OAuth2 / OIDC / JWT / Entra ID

Azure Service Bus / Event Hubs / Kafka

Terraform + Azure DevOps / CI/CD

Python for automation & testing

SQL & Data Modeling

Nice to Have:

Azure Databricks ADF ADLS Gen2 Lakehouse Data Mesh GraphQL gRPC Financial Services / Insurance

Ideal Candidate:

An experienced API/Integration Architect who can define enterprise API standards, work directly with customer architecture teams, make critical design decisions, and stay hands-on in Java/Spring WebFlux development.
