Our client, a growing manufacturer in the Columbus area, is seeking a Junior Buyer to support purchasing activity, supplier communication, inventory availability, and accurate ERP purchasing records. Salary is $41-48k

Role offers exposure to suppliers, quoting, inventory planning, and ERP data management

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JUNIOR BUYER:

The Junior Buyer will convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and monitor supplier confirmations and deliveries

The Junior Buyer will follow up on past-due orders, obtain supplier quotations, and assist with price comparisons and negotiations

Maintain supplier, material, and purchasing information within the ERP system and assist with new supplier setup

Support purchasing metrics, resolve supply issues, and complete additional purchasing or administrative duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JUNIOR BUYER:

Ability to manage multiple priorities and identify purchasing discrepancies in a manufacturing environment

1+ years of purchasing, procurement, materials, supply chain, or related experience is a plus

ERP or MRP experience, including SAP or Plex, is a plus

Salary is $41-48k
