Role Description The Assistant Press Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This role supports the operation of printing presses used to produce corrugated packaging, including preparing materials, loading and unloading stock, and assisting with setup and changeovers. The Assistant Press Operator monitors machines during production runs, performs basic adjustments, and helps maintain a clean and safe work area. Day-to-day tasks include checking print quality, following production schedules, collaborating with press operators and other team members, and adhering to safety and operational procedures.\n

Qualifications\n\n

Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation to assist with running, adjusting, and maintaining printing equipment.\n

Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to inspect materials, verify print accuracy, and ensure products meet specifications.\n

Candidates should possess skills in Printing to support press setup, ink management, and consistent production output.\n

Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting to identify and resolve basic mechanical or process issues during production.\n

Candidates should possess skills in Pre-press to help prepare plates, review artwork, and ready materials for printing.\n

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, with strong attention to detail and safety.\n

Basic math and measurement skills, and ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift.\n

Previous experience in packaging, printing, or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not required.\n
