Electrical QA/QC Coordinator

Location: Coldwater, MI

Duration: 1 Year (Start: 9/28)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $52/hr (Local) $48/hr (Non-Local with Per Diem)

Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week)

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: 40+ Hours Per Week Monday-Thursday/Friday 1st Shift

Additional Schedule Details: Initial schedule will consist of 4x10s with the potential to ramp up to 5x10s as project activity increases.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3+ Years of Electrical Construction or Electrical QA/QC Experience

Ability to Read and Interpret Electrical Drawings, One-Line Diagrams, Specifications, and Installation Details

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Proficiency with Procore

Valid Driver's License Required

Strong Documentation and Organizational Skills

Preferred Qualifications

Utility-Scale Solar Experience

Electrical Testing & Commissioning Experience

Renewable Energy Construction Experience

Quality Control Documentation Experience

Electrical Foreman or Superintendent Background

Experience Managing Turnover Packages and Project Closeout Documentation

What You'll Be Doing

Track and maintain electrical QA/QC documentation

Verify installation completion against project drawings, specifications, and approved submittals

Maintain inspection records, checklists, turnover packages, and quality reports

Review redline drawings and assist with as-built documentation

Organize and maintain manufacturer installation manuals, cut sheets, test reports, and project records

Coordinate with field teams to verify installation quality and compliance requirements

Assist with punch list development, tracking, and closeout activities

Support quality inspections and verification processes throughout the project lifecycle

Maintain accurate documentation for project turnover and client acceptance

Ensure project quality requirements are consistently met and documented

Coordinate with project management, supervision, and construction teams

Promote quality workmanship and compliance throughout all electrical installation activities
