Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the warehouse or worksite while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Load and unload trucks, trailers, pallets, and containers.

Move materials and products to designated storage or production areas.

Stack and organize pallets and inventory according to company procedures.

Inspect forklifts and equipment before each shift and report any defects or maintenance issues.

Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and warehouse procedures.

Verify quantities and inspect materials for visible damage.

Assist with receiving, shipping, picking, packing, and inventory activities as needed.

Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Communicate effectively with supervisors, warehouse staff, drivers, and other team members.

Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.Qualifications

Previous forklift operating experience preferred.

Valid forklift certification or willingness to complete required training.

Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials.

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or industrial environment.

Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and sit for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.

Ability to work around warehouse equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
