Job Title: Allied Central Sterile Tech II Profession: Allied Central Sterile Tech II Specialty: Sterile Process Tech Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years of Central Sterile/Sterile Processing experience

License: N/A Certifications: CBSPD or HSPA (Required), BLS (Required)

Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing/Central Sterile experience - Prior travel experience - CBSPD or HSPA certification

Description:

Cleans and decontaminates surgical instruments and other medical equipment following manufacturer's Instructions For Use (IFU). Inspects, assembles, packages, and sterilizes medical devices following manufacturer's IFUs. Operates automated washers, ultrasonic cleaners, cart washers, and sterilizers according to manufacturer's IFUs. Inspects surgical instrumentation during tray assembly to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness. Pulls surgical case carts for add-ons and/or emergency cases. Effectively communicates with other staff members to facilitate all instrument and supply needs in a timely manner. Completes daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of all areas of the department and signs off on cleaning log and product out-dates. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to facilitate the functions of the department and hospital.
