Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location: Michigan

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients of all ages in a rural hospital setting. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Michigan RN license and have experience in a high-volume emergency department.

Responsibilities:

Provide care to patients presenting with a variety of chief complaints, including but not limited to chest pain, shortness of breath, mental health evaluations, and trauma.

Manage patient care from triage to stabilization and treatment.

Administer medications and intravenous therapies, ensuring accurate documentation.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social services, and rapid response teams.

Participate in nursing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 3 years of emergency department experience.

Current Michigan RN license in hand.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS.

Experience with Epic charting system.

Skills in interpreting dysrhythmias, vascular access, and procedural sedation.
