Front End Architect

We are seeking an experienced Front End Architect to lead development of mobile and desktop web applications. Members of the engineering team work collaboratively as a group and with colleagues in technology, who are devising new speech recognition solutions, and product management to deploy systems and infrastructure to serve the needs of end-user professionals and enterprise clients across a number of verticals. They will play a large role in assessing available technology and helping guide the direction for the front end development and represent the front end discipline to the rest of the organization.Need to Have:At least three years experience building Web applications for desktop and mobile

Ability to communicate effectively with peers in design, product management, technology, and engineering to respond to requirements and diagnose problems

Strong ability to write and debug code that is reusable, testable and efficient

Strong proficiency with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Node.js, AngularJS

Familiarity with server-side Web frameworks such as Django, Linux and AWS environments; and understanding of Linux and HTTP fundamentals

Passion to explore and use the latest development tools and platforms

BS or MS in computer science or related fieldFor this role, we need someone who is highly skilled being able to build single-page web applications that will also be mobile friendly. They will be responsible for designing and shaping our current app and will be the one to optimize our current web application to be responsive and optimize it for maximum speed and scalability. We need them to be proficient in web markups, HTML5, CSS3 and a have a basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as SASS. They will have to know how to do client-side scripting and work with Javascript frameworks such as JQuery. If you find people with ReactJS, Ember.js or similar frameworks we’d also want someone who is proficient in cross-browser compatibility and how to tackle issues and ways to work around them. They will be converting mock-ups and wireframes to clean, easy to maintain and reusable components.
