We are seeking a candidate to fill a litigation associate attorney position.

The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in all aspects of litigation (e.g.: depositions, written discovery, legal research and writing, trial preparation, trial presentation, and client reporting). Candidate must be highly motivated and results-oriented, with excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, writing and research skills.

The individual in this position will draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, conduct legal research, and assist in case strategy development for medical malpractice defense matters.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing case files, participating in depositions and witness preparation, and working closely with partners to analyze complex medical and legal issues.

The Litigation Associate will attend hearings and court conferences as needed, communicate regularly with clients and experts, and collaborate with the team to advance cases efficiently toward resolution or trial.\n \n Qualifications\n\n Strong legal foundation with a focus on civil litigation and medical malpractice defense.\n Experience preparing motions, pleadings, and discovery documents with attention to detail and clarity.\n Proficiency in legal research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and medical/legal issues.\n Familiarity with courts, including local, state, and federal court procedures and rules.\n Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Ohio, or eligibility for prompt admission.\n Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to handle complex and technical subject matter.\n Organized, self-directed work style, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\n Prior litigation or clerkship experience, especially in medical malpractice, is preferred but not required.\n
