The firm serves as a strategic partner for clients navigating complex disputes, offering solutions tailored to diverse industries and needs.\n \n Role Description The Associate Attorney role is a full-time position based in Cleveland, Columbus, Toledo, or Detroit.

This role involves handling a range of litigation and advisory matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and contracts, conducting legal research, and preparing case strategies.

The Associate Attorney will attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings, provide clear legal advice, and support senior attorneys in case preparation and trial work.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include managing case files, communicating with courts and opposing counsel, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver efficient, client-focused legal solutions.\n \n Qualifications\n\n Strong foundation in litigation, with the ability to analyze statutes, case law, and regulations.\n Minimum 3+ years of litigation experience\n Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice tailored to client needs and risk profiles.\n Proficient in research, including legal research tools, fact investigation, and document review.\n Effective negotiation skills for settlements, contracts, and dispute resolution.\n Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in Ohio (or eligibility for admission). Applicants to the Detroit and Toledo offices should have dual Ohio/Michigan licensure or be willing to obtain dual licensure.\n Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including drafting, argument, and presentation abilities.\n Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple matters with strict deadlines.\n Commitment to professional ethics, teamwork, and client service.\n Prior law firm experience, including internships or clerkships, is preferred.\n\n \n We offer a supportive environment with a two-year mentorship program, collaborative culture, and clear partnership pathway for motivated attorneys looking to develop their skills and practice.
