Manager, Agile Program Management (Contract-to-Hire)

Job Title: Manager, Agile Program Management

Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite – 4 Days/Week)

Duration: Long term (Contract-to-Hire after approximately 6 months)

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Agile Program Management to lead the planning and delivery of strategic technology initiatives. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager who has experience managing multiple projects, working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong project governance experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience using Azure DevOps Boards in Product Manager and Scrum Master capacities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

PMP or PRINCE2 certification

8+ years of hands-on Project Management experience

Strong understanding of Waterfall, Hybrid Agile, and Agile project delivery methodologies

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, budgets, timelines, and resources

Experience creating enhancement roadmaps for custom-built applications

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Boards as both Product Manager and Scrum Master

Experience preparing, reviewing, and finalizing Statements of Work (SOWs)

Strong experience producing project documentation including:

Project Charters

Risk Registers

Change Requests

Status Reports

Communication Plans

Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills

Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in regulated industries

Utility or electricity transmission industry experience is highly preferred
