GENERAL DESCRIPTION

At Willowview, we design complex systems spanning multiple engineering disciplines. Our team works together to solve hard problems and deliver superior results. Some of our work is directly for customers, some of it is for our own internal product development.

We're looking for a junior to mid-level Electrical Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, designing scalable systems, and rapidly prototyping ideas.

This role is based at our headquarters, with a preference for local candidates; remote work may be considered depending on candidate qualifications and business needs

US Citizenship required & must be able to obtain a security clearance.

KEY TASKS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, Develop, Test and Maintain complex electronic hardware deliverables

• Work closely with other engineers and management during the entire development lifecycle

• Develop system level documentation and participate in design reviews

• Participate in product testing

• Design PCBs from the ground up as well as improve existing PCB designs

• Conduct minor hardware mods/fixes on various electrical components

• Write and edit firmware

• Utilize Systems Engineering principles to organize your work

• Use Model Based Systems Engineering tools

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

• Basic understanding of Systems Engineering

• Must be willing to travel occasionally

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Experience with PCB design and testing

• Experience with Altium PCB design software preferred

• Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering tools preferred

• Firmware and/or software development experience preferred
