Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Director to join our team. As a key member of our senior living community, Activities Director will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents. Activities Director Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging activities and programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents

Collaborate with the care team to ensure that activities are aligned with each resident's individualized care plan

Recruit and train volunteers to assist with activity programs

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programs, making adjustments as needed

Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a warm and welcoming environment

Manage activity budgets and maintain accurate records

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in activity programming

Activities Director Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or related field preferred

Must be at least 18+ required.

Experience in activity direction or a related field preferred

Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Pass a thorough background check and meet all state and federal requirements
