Salary: $80,000 - 110,000 per year
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
3–6 years of experience in full-stack software development with a strong grasp of software engineering principles
Proficiency in C/C++, .NET, and the MVC framework, including development from concept through deployment, maintenance, and enhancement
At least 1 year of experience with hardware communication via USB or serial interfaces
Advanced ability to write, tune, and run Microsoft SQL queries
Experience building and consuming REST Web APIs, along with API testing tools such as Postman
Hands-on experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Experience in Agile environments, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews
Proficiency with Git for version control
Ability to produce clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code
Self-driven mindset with the ability to deliver strong solutions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred: knowledge of Raspberry Pi application development and deployment
Preferred: strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools
Preferred: familiarity with SQLite database design, querying, and administration
Preferred: basic understanding of hardware communication protocols and interfacing such as UART, I2C, SPI, and GPIO
Preferred: experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or similar tools

Responsibilities:
Partner with our Research & Development team to design, build, and improve new and existing software applications
Identify opportunities to enhance current and future software development efforts
Manage source code in Azure DevOps and follow version control best practices
Provide technical support to clients and development teams integrating software services into their applications
Write high-quality, maintainable code that satisfies architectural, design, and testing standards
Assess the impact of code changes across applications to support stability and reliability
Review user feedback to improve application functionality and SQL query performance
Work with architects, team leads, and business analysts to confirm requirements, clarify design decisions, and resolve technical issues
Maintain and improve internally developed applications while delivering ongoing technical support
Communicate project progress, development status, and risks to stakeholders on a regular basis
Support production troubleshooting, defect analysis, and issue resolution
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for future development and maintenance efforts
