Sr. Software Development Engineer (0024-0014)

Sr. Software Development Engineer (Ref. 338) to perform the following duties: Analyze users' needs and then design and develop software and applications to meet those needs; Translate user stories and functional requirements into resilient & secure technical designs; Ensure application SLAs are met by employing appropriate monitoring and alerting tools as required by each supported application; Work with development leads to assist in developing overall application technology design activities; Identify and define key architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model and data/information flows; Ensure that IT programs and software continue to function normally through software maintenance and testing; Work with Product Owners to help prioritize development activities and estimate level of effort; Focus on professional development through our wide array of learning opportunities for continued growth within the company.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week/8am-5pm/Monday Friday

Job Location: 100% Remote position reports to Company Headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida.

Education and Experience Requirements

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Analytics, Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience as Developer, Engineer, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: Java, Golang, Python, Node.js; Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Vertx, GraphQL; Public Cloud IaaS & PaaS, Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, GKE, AKS; CI/CD & Source Control: Git; MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Couchbase, MongoDB, Elastic; HTTP, WebSocket, gRPC, API design with advanced HTTP & Swagger; Unit, performance, and integration testing with Junit, JMeter/K6, Postman/Newman; Tomcat, Netty, Jetty, JBoss, Nginx; Linux, Unix; OAuth, JWT. A bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a master’s degree plus 3 years of experience.

100% Remote position. It reports to Company Headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida.
