About the Role:

Discovery School House in Leicester, MA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans for toddlers

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care

Foster a nurturing, stimulating, and positive classroom environment

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and daily updates

Support toddlers with daily routines including meals, nap time, and hygiene

Observe and document children's developmental milestones and progress

Collaborate with fellow staff to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom

Requirements:

Previous experience in early childhood education, daycare, or toddler care preferred

Knowledge of toddler development and age-appropriate teaching strategies

Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children

Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements

Completion of the EEC essential trainings

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

High school diploma required; degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education a plus

EEC teacher certification preferred
