Looking for a rewarding role where your baking skills can shine? We are a small, family-owned cafe nestled in the heart of downtown Wendell, proudly serving our community for nearly 10 years. We’re on the hunt for a reliable and detail-oriented Baker to join our team and help us create delicious baked goods and sandwiches that keep our customers coming back for more.What You’ll Be Doing

As our FOH Baker/Cook, you’ll play a key role in our kitchen, ensuring every item is prepared with care and precision. Your responsibilities will include:

Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients accurately for consistent results.

Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times to achieve perfect bakes.

Decorating, glazing, and finishing pastries and breads with an eye for detail.

Preparing sandwiches and other menu items as needed.

Following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

At least 1 year of experience in a baking or similar role.

Familiarity with commercial baking equipment, such as mixers and ovens.

The ability to stand for long shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes precisely.

A valid Food Handler Certification (or the willingness to obtain one within 30 days of hire).Why Join Us?
