PositionSummary

TheResidentialCarpentryForemanisresponsibleforplanning,coordinating,andsupervisingdailyfieldoperationswhileactivelyparticipatingincarpentrywork.Thispositionensuresprojectsarecompletedsafely,efficiently,onschedule,andtoSRFreeman'shighstandardsofqualityandcraftsmanship.

TheForemanservesasaleader,coach,mentor,andtechnicalexpertwhodevelopsteammembers,maintainsclientsatisfaction,anddrivesprojectsuccessthroughplanning,communication,accountability,andexceptionalworkmanship.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities

CrewLeadership

Leadandsupervisecrewsofcarpenters,apprentices,andlaborers.

Conductdailykickoffmeetingsandcommunicateproductiongoals.

Assignworktasksandestablishdailyexpectations.

Monitorcrewperformance,productivity,andquality.

Coach,mentor,andtrainlessexperiencedcarpenters.

Fosteraccountability,teamwork,andprofessionaldevelopment.

Addressfieldperformanceissuesandcommunicateconcernstomanagement.

ProjectCoordination&Planning

Executeandmaintainprojectschedulesandtwo-weeklook-aheadplans.

Coordinatemanpower,materials,equipment,anddeliveries.

Reviewblueprints,specifications,RFIs,sketches,andchangeorders.

Anticipateprojectchallengesanddevelopproactivesolutions.

CoordinateactivitieswithProjectManagers,Superintendents,GeneralContractors,architects,engineers,homeowners,andsubcontractors.

Ensureprojectsremainonscheduleandwithinscope.

QualityControl

Ensureallworkcomplieswithprojectplans,specifications,andcompanystandards.

Performregularinspectionsofcompletedandongoingwork.

Identifyandcorrectdeficienciesimmediately.

Maintainthehigheststandardsofcraftsmanshipandattentiontodetail.

Ensurefinishedworkmeetsclientexpectationsandprojectrequirements.

SafetyLeadership

RequiredQualifications

Experience

Minimumfour(4)yearsofresidentialroughframingandfinishcarpentryexperience.

PreviousexperienceasaForeman,LeadCarpenter,CrewLead,Superintendent,orsimilarleadershiprolepreferred.

Experiencemanaginganddirectingconstructioncrews.

Experienceworkingonluxurycustomresidentialconstructionprojects.

TechnicalSkills

Advancedknowledgeofroughframingandfinishcarpentrytechniques.

Abilitytoreadandinterpretblueprints,specifications,layouts,andconstructiondocuments.

Stronglayout,measuring,andfieldengineeringskills.

Experiencewithconstructionsequencingandscheduling.
