Day to Day:
• Manage workers’ compensation claims from initiation through resolution by coordinating with insurance carriers, injured employees, medical providers, and branch locations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for branch locations regarding workers’ compensation claims, providing guidance and updates throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate workers’ compensation databases, claim documentation, and related records to ensure compliance and organization.
• Assist with OSHA recordkeeping requirements and support workplace accident investigations as needed.
• Participate in claim review meetings with insurance brokers and carriers to discuss claim status, trends, and resolution strategies.
Job Description:
The Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist manages workers’ compensation claims from start to finish, serving as the primary point of contact between injured employees, branch locations, insurance carriers, and medical providers. They maintain accurate claim records, monitor claim progress, and ensure compliance with workers’ compensation regulations across multiple states. On a daily basis, this individual coordinates with internal teams and external partners to facilitate timely claim resolutions, assists with OSHA recordkeeping, and supports accident investigations when workplace incidents occur. They also participate in claim review meetings with insurance brokers and carriers, helping identify trends and opportunities to improve claim outcomes and reduce risk.
