General Laborer - Underground Utility Construction

Job Description

Framework Staffing is looking for dependable General Laborers to join an underground utility construction crew in the Decatur/Elkmont, Alabama area.

Position Details

Pay: $18/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 7:00 AM

Overtime: Weekend overtime may be available

Location: Various jobsites between Decatur and Elkmont, AL

Own transportation is required

Job Duties

Assist with underground utility construction

Perform hand digging and spot digging

Assist with excavation and installation work

Help mix, pour, and handle concrete

Load, unload, and move materials

Assist crew members with various construction tasks

Rake, sweep, and clean jobsites

Follow directions from supervisors and crew leaders

Follow all required safety procedures

Requirements

Previous construction, utility, excavation, concrete, or general labor experience is a plus

Must be comfortable performing physical work outdoors

Must be able to lift, carry, dig, and work on active construction sites

Reliable and dependable

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Reliable transportation to jobsites

Required Safety Equipment

Employees must have:

High-visibility vest

Hard hat

Steel-toe boots

Safety glasses

The company provides gloves, masks, and hearing protection as needed.
