SUMMARY The Associate, Business Development is responsible for supporting the firm’s growth by assisting senior sales professionals throughout the business development lifecycle.

Additionally, this role is responsible for coordinating sales activities, managing follow-ups, preparing proposals and presentations, participating in client calls and meetings, and maintaining accurate data in the CRM system.

This role will gain exposure to the firm’s fund administration and fund accounting solutions, learning the end-to-end sales process, and collaborating closely with sales professionals, operations, and support teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Assists senior sales personnel in managing and advancing business development opportunities.

Coordinates and schedules sales meetings, calls, and follow-ups with prospective clients.

Participates in prospect calls, meetings, and internal discussions to learn about the sales process and client needs.

Prepares and helps assemble proposals, presentations, NDAs, contracts, RFPs, questionnaires, and other sales materials.

Enter and maintain accurate data in the sales CRM system; generate and run standard reports as needed.

Support the preparation and submission of status reports and sales activity updates.

Collaborates with Sales Support and Operations teams to ensure smooth progression of deals through the sales lifecycle.

Learns and maintains a working knowledge of the firm’s fund administration and fund accounting services, as well as industry trends.

Assists with competitive research and gathers information on industry peers as directed.

Participates in select marketing and networking events, conferences, and meetings as appropriate.

Contributes ideas for process improvements and support ad hoc projects as assigned.

Continually updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; internal company and team trainings; maintains personal networks; participates in professional development opportunities.

After tenure will lead deals in collaboration with sales leadership.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS Serves as a resource to members of the team, in addition to Senior Management, providing additional support as needed.

Contact as needed with clients regarding general information, resolution of issues, inquiries, or reporting requirements.

Contact with members of team and internal teams regarding follow-up on inquiries, open workflow, etc.

May perform other duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

0-4 years of experience in the fund administration services industry.

Equivalent education and experience will be considered.

KNOWLEDGE CRM software, such as Salesforce.

Microsoft Office Suite.

Adobe Acrobat.
