Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Science or related discipline from a recognised university; (ii) at least one year of relevant post-qualification work experience; (iii) a supportive and self-motivated work attitude; (iv) a strong sense of responsibility; (v) the ability to work independently; and (vi) good communication and interpersonal skills.
The appointee(s) will work at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin, and will be responsible for (a) providing technical support to the operation of the departmental laboratory, and the laboratory of individual Principal Investigators of the department; (b) maintaining and purchasing laboratory equipment and supplies; (c) keeping laboratory and inventory records; (d) liaising with internal and external parties to ensure compliance with applicable regulations; (e) supporting training, educational, research and academic activities of the Department and its research centres; and (f) performing any other duties as assigned. Working beyond normal office hours or during weekends will be required.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
