Research Assistant / Junior Research Assistant

Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Public Health or related disciplines (for Research Assistant) OR 5 passes in HKCEE (including Chinese & English Syllabus B) OR a combination of 5 HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in NSS subjects; "Attained" in ApL subjects & Grade E in other Language subjects, or equivalent (for Junior Research Assistant); (ii) a holder of a valid Phlebotomy Certificate; (iii) prior experience in phlebotomy is preferred; (iv) safety-oriented, highly responsible and compliant with clinical safety standards; and (v) the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a research team.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) performing phlebotomy duties for research subjects; (b) communicating with research subjects; (c) arranging phlebotomy supplies and inventory ordering; (d) performing data entry, record-keeping and general administrative duties; and (e) assisting the research team with other duties as assigned.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
