Citrus Counseling and Psychological Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. Key Responsibilities
Deliver psychotherapy utilizing a systemic and relational approach, addressing the multifaceted dynamics of family systems.
Conduct engaging family and couples counseling sessions that foster trust and openness, enabling clients to explore their issues in depth.
Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to inform and craft personalized treatment plans that are collaborative and evidence-based.
Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and ensure continuity of care.
Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, case managers, and external providers to ensure holistic treatment and enhance patient outcomes.
Participate actively in team consultations, supervision sessions, and continuing education activities to stay current with best practices in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. Our focus is on treating a wide array of emotional and behavioral concerns, such as anxiety, depression, relational issues, trauma, and more. Your expertise and cultural humility will be crucial in providing inclusive care that respects the unique experiences of each client.
Qualifications
Required: Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada, or eligibility for licensure.
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, with advanced clinical training preferred.
Strong foundation in family systems theory, trauma-informed care, and relational models.
Keen understanding of the importance of cultural competence and humility in clinical settings.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, specifically in a mental health setting.
Experience working with clients from diverse populations and those facing systemic barriers.
Passion for fostering impactful, lasting change through therapeutic modalities.
Compensation and Benefits
