Location: Columbus, Ohio

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite – 5 days/week

Local Candidates: Highly preferred

On-Call: 24/7 mandatory

Role Summary

Senior Architect supporting the functional team, with strong technical PeopleSoft development and troubleshooting expertise.

Extensive PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 experience, especially General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK).

Strong understanding of ledger configurations, budget structures, transactional processing, and cross-module dependencies.

Required Skills & Experience

Extensive experience with PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 – GL and Commitment Control (KK).

Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense integration points and interdependency workflows.

Experience creating/entering Budget and GL Journals and managing the complete journal lifecycle.

Experience configuring Business Units, Combo Edits, Chartfields, Trees, and related PeopleSoft configurations.

Experience with PeopleSoft architecture and integration with external applications.

Experience working with PeopleSoft Application Engine (AE).

Proficiency with Application Designer.

Experience analyzing PeopleCode, AE programs, and other technical objects to identify root causes, customizations, and retrofitting requirements.

Proficiency with PeopleTools, Integration Broker, Web Services, REST and SOAP APIs.

Proficient in PS Query.

Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft tables and data structures for research and analysis.

Strong production support experience, including issue triage, defect resolution, and incident management.

Comprehensive PeopleSoft lifecycle testing experience, including:

Vouchering

Purchasing

GL journal posting

Accounts receivable processing

Test sequencing

Data staging

End-to-end business process validation

Experience writing enhancement/technical documentation, including requirements gathering, business analysis, configuration, table/code changes, test conditions, business risks, and alternative solutions.

Project management experience with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to lead functional design discussions and technical solution walkthroughs.

Highly Desired

Experience working with a large Government enterprise PeopleSoft solution.
