Temporary Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Our client, a property management organization, is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Temporary Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting property operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Temporary Maintenance Technician

Location: Manistique, MI

Pay Range: $18.00 per Hour

Shift: 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings

Perform grounds work and maintain all common areas, both outside and inside as needed

Handle snow removal and respond to after-hour emergency maintenance requests

Complete maintenance and repair work orders efficiently and accurately

Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, and flooring repair

What's Needed?

Previous experience in maintenance or related fields preferred

Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment

Own hand tools required

Ability to handle physical workload and attention to detail

Customer service attitude and ability to work independently
