About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant with 12+ years of experience in ERP implementation, finance transformation, and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in D365 Finance and strong experience working with manufacturing, distribution, retail, wholesale, supply chain, and inventory-driven organizations.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, operations teams, and technology partners to drive end-to-end D365 Finance implementations, process improvements, integrations, and support initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead D365 Finance implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support engagements.

Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable D365 Finance solutions.

Configure and optimize Finance modules including:

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Fixed Assets

Cash & Bank Management

Budgeting and Forecasting

Cost Accounting

Financial Reporting

Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure seamless financial integration.

Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.

Design and implement Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.

Participate in solution design workshops and business process re-engineering initiatives.

Develop functional design documents and support technical teams during development.

Define data migration strategy and validate migrated financial data.

Coordinate SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.

Drive adoption of best practices and standard D365 capabilities.

Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and business users.

Work with executive stakeholders to align ERP solutions with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of ERP consulting experience with strong Microsoft Dynamics expertise.

5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.

Accounts Receivable

Fixed Assets

Cash & Bank Management

Budgeting

Cost Accounting

Experience integrating Finance with:

Supply Chain Management

Inventory Management

Procurement & Sourcing

Warehouse Management

Manufacturing Operations

Strong understanding of financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance processes.

Experience with data migration, testing, training, and deployment activities.

Ability to conduct solution workshops and stakeholder discussions independently.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in furniture, retail, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, consumer products, or eCommerce domains. These environments typically involve extensive inventory management, warehousing, sourcing, procurement, and financial operations.

Experience with multi-company and multi-entity financial environments.

Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).

Knowledge of Azure integrations and data platforms.

Experience with third-party logistics (3PL), warehouse, and inventory management integrations.

Understanding of demand planning, product lifecycle, and supply chain finance processes.

Certifications (Preferred)

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Certifications

Accounting or Finance-related certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus
