Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to work in our Mobile Application team focused on building servicing layer for the client's Mobile app. As a senior developer, the candidate will design, build, and support all components of the application using the technologies needed to fulfill those component's responsibilities. This platform will build new microservices exposed via REST API's using Spring Boot, database ORM using Hibernate and scheduled tasks/batch processes using other Java technologies. Using requirements and functional design as inputs, the candidate will help to create detailed design documentation, build and unit test the application, resolve defects, analyze root causes, and coordinate solutions across multiple application and project teams. The candidate will also support the initial application build out, code reviews and unit testing of the product. Finally, the candidate will research and facilitate the monitoring, high availability and support methodology for our production environment.

Basic qualifications:

4-6 years of hands on software development experience in Java technologies with special focus in middleware development building RESTful web services.

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Possess 1+ years of professional experience in leading junior development team members

Possess 1+ years of experience with Spring Boot

Possess 1+ years of experience with relational databases/SQL

Experience in banking technology

Possess 1+ years of experience with ORM technologies

Possess 1+ years of professional experience in supervising or leading junior development team members while working independently with minimal supervision.
