Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing; highest need for scheduled cases; call availability is valued

Job Setting: Level 2 Trauma Hospital (Aspirus St. Luke's Hospital) with 15 ORs, 4 endo suites, and ambulatory surgery locations; supervised model

Types of Cases:

General Anesthesia (Adult - Required; Pediatric - Preferred)

Obstetrical Cases

Neurosurgical Cases (Head and Spine)

Thoracic Cases (except open heart)

Complex Vascular Cases (except open heart)

Complex Orthopedic Cases

Trauma (Preferred)

Pediatric ENT and other outpatient specialty areas

Pain Management Techniques

Ventilation Management

Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues

Arterial Line Placement

Patient Encounters Per Shift: 4-5

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days Minimum Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required

Certifications:

ACLS - Required

BLS - Required

PALS - Required

Licensure: Active Minnesota, will consider IMLC

Fellowship: Required
