Duration: 12 weeks

Number of Openings: 10

Schedule: 8-hour and 10-hour shifts; Day shift only

Job Setting: Hospital - Providers must be open to working at all 4 hospitals:

Types of Cases: General, Neuro, Ortho, OB, Electrophysiology (EP) - Spinal cases are required

Charting System: iPro

Anesthesia Rooms: 26

Supervision: MDs supervising CRNAs at a 1:4 ratio; MDs also performing their own cases

Credentialing: Estimated privileging timeframe: 60 days; Accelerated/Temporary privileges available (30-60 days) Responsibilities

Pre-anesthesia assessment

Obtain and/or verify patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient

Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

Performance of clinical intervention as needed Minimum Requirements

Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education; candidates must have or be able to obtain a Texas state license (candidates requiring state licensure will not be considered) About VISTA Staffing
