Long Term Substitute Teacher - Metal Fabrication/Welding

South Shore Technical seeks a qualified Long Term Substitute for our Metal Fabrication/Welding Program Hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30AM - 2:15PM on days when school is in session.

The assignment begins immediately and is anticipated to conclude on November 6, 2026.

Dates are anticipated and may be subject to change.

Applicants who hold Chapter 74 DESE Licensure in Welding [9-14] or Metal Fabrication & Joining Technologies [9-14], or experienced industry professionals with an interest in teaching in an established vocational technical high school setting and who are eligible for temporary waiver of state teaching licensure requirements are invited to apply.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Five (5) full years of direct industry experience and for Welding: Possession of current national welding certification.

This is a benefits-eligible position.

Temporary appointment may be made prior to posting closing date.

Compensation: $300 per 6.75 hour school day (prorated as needed). The South Shore Regional School District encourages minority applicants to apply for all open positions.
