Job Title: Full-Time Lead Janitor / Facility Sanitation Specialist

Location: W Dublin Granville Rd (OH-161), Columbus, OH (Conveniently located between Worthington & Columbus)

Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Schedule: Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (No weekends!)

Pay Rate: $16.00 an hour + full benefits package

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full-Time Janitor to keep our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. You will play a vital role in maintaining a healthy environment for our team, clients, and guests through consistent daily maintenance, routine sanitization, and floor care during stable daytime hours.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and auto-scrub flooring across office spaces, hallways, and common areas.

Sanitization: Disinfect high-touch surfaces, restrooms, breakrooms, and meeting spaces using commercial-grade supplies and safety protocols.

Waste Management: Empty trash, recycling, and compost bins, ensuring proper disposal and replacing liners daily.

Supply Inventory: Restock restrooms and cleaning closets with soap, paper products, and PPE; report low inventory to management.

Facility Support: Maintain clear pathways, report building maintenance or safety hazards, and assist with occasional light setup for special events as needed.

Qualifications

1+ years of professional janitorial, commercial cleaning, or custodial experience preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive bending or reaching.

Familiarity with standard cleaning chemicals, safe handling practices (SDS), and floor equipment (buffers, scrubbers, vacuums).

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license may be required depending on duty scope.
