URGENT HIRING – PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

Kenosha, WI 1st Shift $22–$26/hr Based on Experience

Halpin Staffing is urgently hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator for a skilled manufacturing position in Kenosha. If you have 3+ years of press brake operation experience, can read blueprints, set up CNC equipment, and work with precision measuring tools, we want to hear from you.

This is an advanced skilled position responsible for the setup and operation of CNC-controlled press brake and forming equipment, producing precision sheet metal parts to customer specifications.

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment using standard and custom punches.

Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and production orders to determine job requirements.

Program CNC controls and adjust ram and back gauge locations according to specifications.

Measure parts using calipers, gauges, tape measures, protractors, and other precision instruments.

Configure bend allowances and form stainless steel, aluminum, and mild/regular steel.

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet quality specifications.

Perform routine machine maintenance, calibration, cleaning, and troubleshooting

What You Bring

3+ years of press brake operation and setup experience required.

Strong understanding of metal fabrication and forming processes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and job specifications.

Experience with CNC press brake programming and setup.

Proficiency using precision measuring tools, including calipers and gauges.

Knowledge of sheet metal properties, bend allowances, and fabrication practices.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Forklift certification preferred/required.
