4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.

Option 2

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration;

AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.

Option 3

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file (Employee Promotional & Recognition Programs);

AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.

What You'll Do as a Program Administrator 2

Oversees the planning, implementation & facilitation of OSHP Promotional Ceremonies, District Awards Banquets, Master Trooper & Master Police Officer Ceremonies, Cadet & Police Officer swearing-in ceremonies, & Saved by the Belt Program.

Responds to any programmatic requests or issues as needed; Provides technical advice &/or recommendations to aid administrator in decision making; Provides regular updates to Administrator, OSHP & ODPS leadership, &/or section staff on event or project status.

Collaborates with Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) Director's Office & OSHP Superintendent's Office on the planning & execution of events or special projects.

Monitors, distributes, & facilitates award submissions; Submits & monitors requisitions for events, awards, retirement items &/or other needed supplies.

Analyzes & evaluates programs &/or projects, makes revisions to event framework as needed; Identifies specific activities to be performed & establishes timelines in order to produce project deliverables.
