What You'll Do:
Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care, including rounds and clinic visits
Perform endoscopic procedures, including ERCP (certification preferred)
Manage a diverse patient caseload with support from APPs and a multidisciplinary team
Collaborate with Henry Ford Medical Group for shared patient care pathways
Participate in teaching and academic activities through the GME program (optional)
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and meet performance metrics
Maintain compliance with credentialing, licensing, and hospital requirements
What You Need:
Board Eligible or Certified in Gastroenterology (must become certified within 1 year if eligible)
ERCP certification preferred
5-8 years of GI practice experience (excluding residency/fellowship)
Valid medical license for Michigan
Key skills in patient management, endoscopic procedures, and teamwork
Industry certifications like ITIL, PMP are preferred but not required
