Howard Grote and Sons Inc. is a well-established painting contractor known for delivering top-notch commercial painting services. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Wallpaper Hanger/Painter with at least 5 years of experience to join our team and contribute to our continued success

Job Description:

As an experienced Wallpaper Hanger/Painter, you will be responsible for performing high-quality work on various projects.

Your duties will include:

Measure and cut wallpaper to fit walls and ceilings

Apply adhesive and hang wallpaper with precision

Work with vinyl and mural wallpapers

Ensure high-quality finishes and attention to detail

Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming

Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers

Mixing and matching paint colors to achieve desired results

Ensuring all work meets our quality standards and client specifications

Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Following all HGS safety protocols and company handbook policies

Communicating effectively with team members and Project managers

Requirements:

Proven experience as a wallpaper hanger

Familiarity with different types of wallpaper and adhesives

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Minimum of 5 years of professional painting experience

Proficiency in various painting techniques and materials

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends
