Claims Microservices Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, modernize, and support secure, scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs for enterprise claims platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.

Lead API modernization, legacy-to-cloud migrations, and service decomposition.

Build secure, scalable, resilient, production-ready applications.

Develop CI/CD pipelines and deploy containerized services using Docker/Kubernetes.

Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.

Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support.

Conduct code/design reviews and mentor engineers.

Collaborate with product, architecture, security, DevOps, QA, and business teams.

Required

10+ years of software development experience.

Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices expertise.

Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and enterprise integrations.

Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle.

Automated testing with JUnit/Mockito, integration and contract testing.

Production monitoring with Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools.

Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Healthcare/claims experience.

Azure/AKS, Azure API Management, Key Vault.

Kafka/IBM MQ, Redis, Helm, Argo CD, GitOps.

OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0/OIDC/JWT, API governance.

Experience with high-volume systems, resiliency, and legacy modernization.

Education:

Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience.
