Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA with strong cloud migration experience to manage, optimize, and migrate enterprise SQL Server databases to cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SQL Server administration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and end-to-end database migration.

Required Skills

Strong experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA)

SQL Server 2016/2019/2022 administration and troubleshooting

Database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance

Strong experience with SQL Server Performance Tuning

Backup, restore, recovery, and disaster recovery

Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Replication

Database security, users, roles, permissions, and encryption

T-SQL scripting and automation

Monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization

Experience with PowerShell and/or DBA automation tools

Cloud Migration – Must Have

Hands-on experience migrating SQL Server databases to the Cloud

Experience with AWS and/or Azure

Azure SQL Database / Azure SQL Managed Instance and/or AWS RDS for SQL Server

Experience with database assessment, discovery, dependency analysis, and migration planning

Experience with backup/restore, replication, log shipping, or migration tools for cloud migration

Experience planning and executing large-scale database migrations

Post-migration performance tuning, validation, troubleshooting, and optimization

Experience with cloud security, networking, monitoring, and high availability
