Our client, a company operating in the fintech space, is looking for a Junior Product Specialist to support the development, improvement and delivery of its digital products at their Larnaca, Cyprus office and report to the Product Manager.

About the role:

Working closely with Product, Development, QA, Design and other business teams, you'll help translate business and user needs into clear requirements, support feature development, and contribute to the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the product. You'll operate within established product processes, with guidance available for more complex or unfamiliar matters, gradually building your product knowledge, ownership and independence as you go. It's an excellent opportunity for someone early in their product career to grow within a fast-moving fintech environment.

What you'll do:

Support the development and continuous improvement of digital products and features

Gather, document and clarify business and user requirements

Help prepare user stories, product requirements and acceptance criteria

Support the maintenance and prioritisation of the product backlog

Coordinate with Development, QA, Design and other teams across the product lifecycle

Take part in product planning, sprint planning, reviews and other Agile ceremonies

Support feature testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before release

Monitor product issues, user feedback and opportunities for improvement

Help review product usage, performance and relevant data

Maintain accurate, up-to-date product documentation

Support product releases and post-release follow-up

Communicate requirements, updates and progress to stakeholders, and contribute ideas to improve functionality, usability and customer experience

What we're looking for:

Around 1–3+ years of relevant experience in Product, Business Analysis, Project Coordination, fintech, technology or a related environment (relevant internships, academic projects or practical experience will also be considered)

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Finance or a related field, or equivalent relevant qualifications/experience

A foundational understanding of product development and the product lifecycle

Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Understanding of requirements gathering, user stories and acceptance criteria

Basic understanding of digital products, user experience and product-performance metrics

Awareness of the fintech and financial-services environment

Strong organisational, coordination and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail

Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

A customer-focused approach and a genuine willingness to learn new products, technologies and industry concepts

Professional proficiency in English

Nice to have:

Previous internship or experience in Product, Business Analysis or Project Coordination

Exposure to fintech, payments, trading, brokerage or financial-services products

Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or similar tools

Basic experience with data analysis or reporting tools

Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations

Familiarity with UX/UI principles

Experience working within an Agile environment

Proficiency in any additional language

What's on offer:

Salary of €2,020 – €3,000 gross per month (€24,240 – €36,000 gross per year)

Annual performance and salary review

Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days remote) after 6 months

Monday–Thursday: 08:30–17:15 (45-minute lunch break) and Friday: 08:30–17:00 (30-minute lunch break)
