We’re looking for consultant – MPD Project Engineer Houston, TX

We are seeking an experienced Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Engineer for a project-based subcontractor position located in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

Support MPD project engineering, planning, and execution.

Perform MPD hydraulics, ECD/ESD, SBP, surge/swab, and operational simulations.

Develop MPD programs, operating matrices, procedures, and technical documentation.

Review MPD equipment requirements, P&IDs, and system configurations.

Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, risk assessments, and project planning.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.Requirements:

Engineering degree (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related discipline).

5+ years of drilling/MPD experience.

Strong knowledge of MPD operations, wellbore hydraulics, and well control.

Experience with MPD hydraulic modeling/simulation software.

Strong technical, communication, and client-facing skills Work Location: Houston, TX – Local Project Position
