Title: Desktop Support Analyst II
Location: Westerville, OH – 5 days onsite
Pay Rate: $22-26/hr
Required Qualifications
Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or technical support roles.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise environments with a variety of endpoint devices and business applications.
Familiarity with construction, engineering, or project-based software environments is a plus.
Experience with endpoint management and security platforms.
Position Summary
The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end users across a variety of hardware, software, and mobile technologies. This role serves as a key point of contact for troubleshooting issues, fulfilling service requests, and ensuring employees have the tools and support needed to perform their jobs effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of desktop systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach to technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Build, configure, deploy, and maintain desktop and laptop computers.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Provide support for Windows 10/11 devices, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other workplace technologies.
Install, configure, and support software applications including Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Adobe products, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other business-related applications.
Manage and track support requests through a ticketing system, documenting troubleshooting steps, updates, and resolutions.
Support mobile devices including iOS and Android platforms.
Assist with user account management and basic identity and access administration through Active Directory.
Perform equipment inventory management, hardware upgrades, replacements, and asset tracking.
Support network-connected devices and assist with basic networking troubleshooting.
Maintain confidentiality and properly handle sensitive information.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical issues.
Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and service-oriented support environment.
