As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Interior Designer to become a key member of our client-facing design process.
You'll build trusted relationships with homeowners, guide them through one of the biggest investments they'll make, develop conceptual designs, coordinate selections, and collaborate with our team to bring exceptional remodeling projects to life.

Build Relationships with Homeowners
Lead intake calls with prospective clients to understand their goals and determine project fit.
Conduct in-home design consultations to understand each client's lifestyle, functional needs, design preferences, and comfortable investment range.
Build trust by educating and guiding homeowners throughout the design and pre-construction process.
Create an exceptional client experience through proactive communication and thoughtful consultation.
Lead Projects Through the Design Process
Develop creative conceptual designs for kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home remodeling projects.
Create mood boards, layouts, space plans, and conceptual presentations that help homeowners visualize their future space.
Guide clients through material selections, finishes, fixtures, and product recommendations.
Create finish schedules and maintain accurate documentation throughout the design process.
Refine project scope as design decisions evolve.
Pre-Construction & Project Development
Develop preliminary budgets and ballpark estimates with support from the Sales & Design Manager.
Present ballpark estimates and help clients understand project investment.
Assist in preparing construction drawings, permit documents, work orders, and design documentation using Chief Architect.
Coordinate selection appointments with vendors and showrooms.
Maintain accurate project information within Buildertrend and other project management systems.
Collaborate closely with our Sales & Design Manager, Production Team, trade partners, and other sales and design staff to ensure a smooth transition into construction.What You Bring
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in residential interior design, residential remodeling, or a design-build environment.
Strong portfolio showcasing residential remodeling projects.
Experience leading homeowners through the design process from initial consultation through design development.
Strong understanding of residential remodeling, space planning, materials, finishes, and construction methods.
Experience discussing project budgets and helping clients make informed investment decisions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects.
A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Chief Architect strongly preferred. Experience with Revit or other residential CAD software is also highly valued.
Experience preparing construction drawings, permit sets, and work orders.
Experience with Buildertrend or similar construction management software.
Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field preferred.Compensation & Benefits
