Position Summary – Center Manager

The Center Manager is responsible for the operational, customer-facing, and sales aspects of running the center. This role is ideal for an energetic, organized, and relationship-focused individual who can lead staff, engage families, and ensure a smooth and efficient center experience.

The Center Manager builds trust with families, drives enrollments, maintains strong communication, manages administrative tasks, and supports a positive environment for both students and staff.

This is a part-time (30+ hours) position with the opportunity to become a full-time Center Director.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day center operations to ensure a high-quality experience for students and families

Build relationships with parents and guardians; provide updates and handle concerns professionally

Manage incoming leads, conduct consultations, and drive new student enrollments

Support center profitability through effective scheduling, staffing, and administrative oversight

Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care

Manage staff scheduling, communication, and performance expectations

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional learning environment

Assist the Academic Manager with ensuring the staff follow the Mathnasium Method™ while upholding center standards

Support team motivation, culture, and employee development

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or client-facing roles

Experience working with children preferred but not required

Strong organization and administrative skills

Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff

Proficiency with computers and software systems

Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented demeanor

Willingness to learn the Mathnasium Method™
