About the Role

The Safety Reprsentative/Assistant supports the organization's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs by maintaining safety records, coordinating training, assisting with compliance activities, and promoting a safe work environment. This role serves as a key administrative resource for safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, incident reporting, and employee safety communications.

What You’ll Do

Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Track employee safety training, certifications, and required refresher courses.

Assist in preparing and submitting OSHA logs, reports, and compliance documentation.

Assist with safety meetings, inspections, audits, and training sessions.

Enter and manage safety-related data in company databases and software systems.

Support incident investigations by collecting information, documentation, and corrective action tracking.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual safety performance reports.

Assist with internal and external safety audits.

Monitor compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

Manage safety supplies, personal protective equipment (PPE), and inventory records.

Provide safety information, updates, and training requirements for employees.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.

Assist with workers' compensation and return-to-work documentation.

Support emergency preparedness and response planning activities.

Perform other administrative and safety-related duties as assigned.

Additional Expectations

Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.

Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.

Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.

Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You'll Bring

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a safety, manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety programs preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.

Experience with EHS management software preferred.

Knowledge of workers' compensation processes and safety compliance reporting preferred.

First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
