Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Travel Albemarle, NC

Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Albemarle, NC. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of ED RN experience and be comfortable with both pediatric and adult patients with a variety of illness types including cardiac and minor trauma. This role requires floating to various nearby facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide direct and individualized nursing care

Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage critical care drips

Perform PIV starts and manage conscious sedation

Administer emergency medications such as TNK/TPA

Conduct ESI assessments

Qualifications

Required:

2 years ED RN experience

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications

General ED skillset including vent management and chest tubes

Preferred:

TNCC certification
