Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a clean and comfortable environment for others? Casa of Fort Wayne Health Campus is seeking an EVS Assistant/Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team.

In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming campus for our residents, visitors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, stairways, and elevators.

Make resident beds and replace linens as scheduled or directed.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, disinfect, and spot-clean floors and carpets.

Clean windows, mirrors, walls, baseboards, fixtures, furnishings, and other surfaces.

Empty trash and properly handle waste and biohazardous materials.

Complete terminal and discharge cleaning in coordination with nursing staff.

Clean isolation rooms following infection-control procedures.

Restock housekeeping carts and properly store supplies and equipment.

Use appropriate caution signs and follow all safety procedures.

Help maintain an orderly, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout the campus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.

Dependable attendance and a positive, professional attitude.

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended shifts when needed.

Ability to stand and walk frequently and lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
