The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot issues with residential and light commercial HVAC systems, perform routine and preventive maintenance, and complete repairs and component replacements as needed.
Day-to-day tasks include responding to service calls, inspecting systems, verifying proper operation, and documenting work performed using company procedures.
The role also involves advising customers on system performance, maintenance needs, and basic operation, while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
The technician will collaborate with the office team to schedule appointments, manage parts and tools, and ensure timely, accurate completion of all service tickets.\n Qualifications\n \n\n Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to accurately diagnose HVAC system issues.\n Candidates should possess maintenance & repair skills, including performing preventive maintenance on heating and air conditioning equipment.\n Candidates should possess knowledge of EPA regulations and hold or be able to obtain appropriate EPA certification for handling refrigerants.\n Candidates should possess a focus on customer satisfaction, including clear communication, professional conduct on-site, and respectful interaction with clients.\n Additional beneficial qualifications include prior HVAC field experience, familiarity with common HVAC tools and test equipment, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to work safely in varying indoor and outdoor environments.\n Technical training or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related trade is preferred, along with basic proficiency in reading service manuals and completing digital or written service reports.\n
