Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Job description:

Must possess a strong work ethic and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical systems not limited to the following:

Industrial/commercial high voltage systems.

Industrial/commercial low voltage systems including controls such as: PLC ladder logic, analog, SCADA, Ethernet, telecommunications, BACnet, ETC.

Be able to apply electrical theory and OHMS law to practical application.

Must be able to design electrical systems that are compliant with the National Electrical Code.

Must have firm understanding of major electrical components and how to effectively integrate them into real life applications.

Evaluate electrical systems/components for functionality prior to energization.

Be able to improve current electrical systems for efficiency.

Conduct performance, and compliance testing of electrical systems. Should be able to troubleshoot using safe electrical practices.

Be able to use engineering and design software to model/draft electrical systems to paper for in field installation.

Must be able to interact with customers using strong verbal and written communication.
