Entry Systems is hiring an experienced, hands-on tradesperson who wants to learn the garage door industry and build a long-term career with an established Orange County company.

Garage door experience is not required. We provide paid training. We are looking for someone who already has at least two years of professional experience in installation, construction, maintenance, repair, or another mechanical trade.

Candidates with experience in the following fields are encouraged to apply:

Window or door installation

Appliance installation or repair

HVAC, electrical, or low-voltage work

Carpentry, cabinetry, or remodeling

Fence, gate, or solar installation

Property or facilities maintenance

Other professional mechanical or installation work Pay and Benefits

$20/hr during the initial 90-day paid training period

$25–$30/hr base pay after training, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated proficiency

Performance bonuses and commission opportunities

Typical total compensation of $30–$40/hr after training

Full-time W-2 employment

What You’ll Do

Install residential garage doors and related equipment

Load, assemble, install, adjust, and test door systems

Work independently or with another installer

Use hand and power tools throughout the workday

Troubleshoot mechanical and installation issues

Assist with garage door service when installations are not scheduled

Communicate professionally with homeowners

Maintain an organized company vehicle and work area Requirements:

At least two years of professional installation, construction, repair, maintenance, or skilled-trade experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools

Dependable work history and consistent attendance

Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds

Comfortable working from ladders and performing physical work

Professional communication and customer-service skills

Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements

Ability to pass required background and drug screening
